Stuffed animals can sometimes be a reason for allergies. They can carry dust mites or other allergens. A few simple tips can help you stay healthy.
We all love stuffed animals. They are cute, cuddly and fun. But their fur can also be a place where critters, dust and other things that can irritate your allergies can hide. Happily it doesn’t mean that you should not keep stuffies at home.

There are many ways you can keep the plush toys clean and reduce the risk of allergies quite a lot. The most obvious one is to wash them often in the washing machine.
But, not all animals are washable like that. So what can you do? You can easily remove dust mites if you perform a surface wash with a steamer for example.
